Cost Of Dental Implants

Cost of Dental Implants in Los Angeles. The cost of dental implants in Los Angeles CA ranges from $1200 to $1800. There are extra charges of $900 to $1400 for the abutment and crown for an average total cost of $2100 to $3200.

Is Spending Money On Dental Implants Worth it?

Paying hard-earned money on dental implants to replace your teeth and restore your smile can’t be a casual decision. It requires your attention and consideration of all the crucial factors. It’s a significant investment but can offer lifetime benefits, including a brand new confident smile, and fully-functional and healthy teeth.

After factors such as type of material, location of the tooth, and need for preliminary dental procedures before placement are considered, the cost of single tooth replacement can range between $2,100 and $3,200. However, against this one-time cost, you get a new set of healthy teeth that can last you a lifetime. To make sure that spending on implants pays, patients should seek only a well-qualified and reputed dentist.

Don’t Decide Based On Initial Cost

Understandably, patients seek budget-friendly dental implant options, but if the price is the only deciding factor, it may not serve your purpose. The cheapest dental implant option may involve a dentist utilizing poor-quality implant material. Or a dental practitioner not qualified, certified, or experienced performing a complex dental implant procedure.

And if suspect quality implants are improperly placed, they can cause damage and affect your oral health — a consequence for which you will have to invest more money and time for corrections, along with managing the added stress.

Dental Implants

Traditional dental implants comprise of small titanium posts, which are surgically inserted directly into a patient’s tooth root and replace the extracted or missing teeth. Implants lay a durable foundation beneath your gum line. With the new and healthy base ready, your dentist places removable or permanent prosthetic teeth, tooth, or bridge. After the placement of the dental implant, you receive brand new healthy, long-lasting, and natural-appearing teeth, get back the complete dental function of your teeth and gums and begin to smile and interact with confidence again.

Three Kinds Of Dental Implants:

 Root Implant
 Plate Form Implant
 Subperiosteal Implant

Root Implants

Root dental implants are the most popular and effective type of implants as they mirror the size and shape of a patient’s natural tooth. A root implant is usually as strong as an original healthy tooth. This implant or artificial root is inserted into the jawbone utilizing local anesthesia and allowed time to heal and integrate with the bone.

When the healing process is complete, the dental implant is integrated with the jawbone. Then you are needed to schedule a follow up dental appointment during which our dentist fits the implant with a brand new tooth. The entire procedure can take between three to eight months for completion.

Plate Form Implant

It is used in a situation in which the patient’s jawbone is not sufficiently wide to adequately support a root implant. Thin and long, the plate form implant anchors into thin jawbones. The cosmetic dentist at First Dental Implant Center inserts the implant in the same way as the root implant. Sometimes, the dentist does not wait for the healing to be completed and fits the plate form implant with the restoration tooth immediately.

Subperiosteal Implants

Subperiosteal dental implants are utilized when a patient’s jawbone has receded to such an extent that it can’t support an implant.

Benefits Of Dental Implants

Dental implants are the most technologically-advanced, safe, and long-lasting teeth replacement solution. Designed to feel and appear like natural teeth, they don’t fall out and give you the confidence to eat, talk, and smile with confidence. Implants offer ‘survival rates,’ which are improving continually. They preserve a patient’s jaw bone, restore the jawbone structure, reduce the workload on your remaining oral structure, and help maintain your facial appearance:

IMPLANTS ARE LONG LASTING

  • A dental bridge can last for about 10 years, but you may never have to change your dental implants while you alive. The implant, with titanium material, fuses with your jawbone. It’s non-toxic, and your body does not reject it – making it a highly dependable replacement tooth.

ENHANCED APPEARANCE

  • Dental implants feel and appear like your natural teeth. And as they are made to fuse with bone, implants become permanent. You can say goodbye to being self-conscious due to your missing or failing teeth.

  • STABALIZE ADJACENT TEETH
    • Your adjacent teeth can shift crookedly towards the gap caused by a missing tooth. This may affect the position of your teeth. The out-of-position teeth can impact your ability to chew and bite and your appearance. It can make future teeth replacement difficult. A poor bite can trigger issues with your TMJ (temporomandibular joint) and may cause headaches and pain.

    • PREVENT FACIAL SAGGING
      • Bone loss due to missing teeth can result in facial sagging. As the lower third of your face begins to collapse, it gradually closes the distance between the chin and the tip of your nose. Other changes include thinning lips, additional wrinkles around the mouth, and a more pointed chin – causing you to appear older than your actual age.
    • STOPS BONE LOSS
      • If there’s no tooth, your jaw bone in the empty space can deteriorate owing to no stimulation. If you don’t get an implant placed within the first year of tooth loss, there can be bone area losses of 25%, and bone loss may continue over time.
    • PRESERVE SPEECH
      • If you have badly-fitted dentures, your teeth can slip within the mouth and cause you to slur or mumble your words, which can be embarrassing. However, dental implants enable you to speak without worrying about teeth that may slip.

Dental Implants And Its Benefits

While long-term peace of mind is one of its significant benefits, the innovative and highly-efficient teeth restoration dental solution of dental implants has other advantages such as:

Improved Appearance

Dental implants lay a solid foundation for customized prosthetic teeth, which feel and look like your natural teeth and are tailored, keeping in mind the distinct shape, color, and size of your teeth and smile. The final result of implant placement is a permanent set of attractive and healthy teeth.

Implants Are Long-Lasting

Implants are a lasting tooth replacement dental solution. And with adequate care, like regular dental checks and daily teeth brushing and flossing, they can last a lifetime.

Offer Greater Convenience

When you wear removable dentures, you are required to avoid certain foods, constantly adjust and fit, soak them overnight, and apply messy adhesives. Whereas dental implants are a long-term tooth replacement solution, and as dental prosthetic don’t need special care and instructions. All you need to do is care for them as you did for your natural teeth.

Enhanced Oral Health

Apart from improving one’s dental function and facial appearance, dental implants actually stop the advancement of tissue deterioration and gum disease by stimulating the bone and gum tissue underneath your gum line.

How Are Dental Implants Placed?

The process begins with scheduling an initial dental consultation with Dr. Kass at the First Dental Implant Center. Dr. Kass and his dental team will assess your dental history, carry out a routine oral exam, and get 3D CT scans of your mouth to analyze the extent of gum and bone loss, and see if you are a fit candidate for the implant procedure.

If you qualify as a candidate, our dental office will schedule your surgical appointment. During this procedure, Dr. Kass will surgically implant small titanium posts directly into your gums and jawbone using a local anesthetic, cover the area, and allow time for healing.

In the next few months, the titanium posts will slowly fuse to the bone and gum tissue, and provide a sturdy foundation on which your dentist will place the permanent teeth.

If the dental implants are placed in an observable area in the mouth, like in the front, your dentist will place a temporary prosthetic in the interim while your customized prosthetics are made.

After the implants bond with the gums and bone, the personalized prosthetic teeth are attached to the implants utilizing a small abutment. Now the implant procedure is complete, and you are ready to enjoy all the benefits of your new teeth permanently.

If you have missing or failing teeth, dental implants are a dependable and efficient teeth replacement solution – be it for a single tooth or the full set of teeth. To find out if you are a suitable candidate for dental implants, please call the First Dental Implant Center at 888-213-0009, and schedule a consultation with Dr. Kass and his team of experienced and certified dentists and staff to discuss how implants can resolve your dental issues.

Invisalign Clear Braces Reseda, Woodland Hills, Agoura Hills, Simi Valley

How Invisalign® Offers More Advantages Than Metal Braces

The smooth plastic aligners Invisalign®, over some time, straighten teeth without the use of metal wires or brackets. Invisalign®, like traditional braces, treats a range of dental issues effectively, such as teeth with gaps, crowded teeth, crooked teeth, and misaligned bites.

Your dentist customizes each of the clear plastic trays of Invisalign braces for a perfect fit and helps you attain your distinct smile after shifting the teeth into place gently. The procedure provides better comfort through the treatment process compared to metal braces. Moreover, Invisalign® wearers require fewer dental clinic visits and face fewer restrictions than patients choosing to wear traditional metal braces – making Invisalign® the clear and better choice to reclaim the aesthetics of your natural smile.

Several Advantages of Invisalign® Over Traditional Metal Braces

Better Comfort

In traditional braces, the metal brackets and wires are more likely to cause irritation, pain, or discomfort to your gums and cheeks. Whereas Invisalign®’s personalized smooth plastic trays give greater comfort compared to conventional braces.

Reduced Risk Of Dental Emergencies

Wires and broken brackets are a major cause of emergency dental visits by people wearing traditional braces. The use of Invisalign® ELIMINATES the risk of injury due to wires and metal brackets in the mouth.

Invisalign® Encourages Better Overall Dental Health

When you wear traditional braces, you may face common problems such as plaque buildup, injury to the mouth, tooth discoloration, breakage of brackets, and tooth decay. Whereas Invisalign® aligners can be taken off easily, enabling you to clean and care for your teeth properly. Moreover, Invisalign® clear aligners do not pose any threat to your teeth or mouth if there’s an accident.

Fewer Dentist Visits

If you wear traditional metal braces, then you are usually required to see a dentist for adjustments almost every six weeks. On the other hand, those who wear Invisalign® clear aligners make this visit for adjustments every 10 weeks — saving you, over a period of time, more time for work, and personal life!

Improved Appearance

Invisalign® is a more natural-looking and attractive alternative to metal braces as the clear, plastic material used for its trays is almost invisible.

Invisalign® Wearers Have No Food Restrictions

If you wear traditional braces, food items such as nuts, popcorn, certain candies, and corn on the cob can be difficult to eat and also cause damage to the braces and teeth. However, with Invisalign®, patients can eat their favorite food without worrying about damaging teeth or aligners.

At the First Dental Implant Center, we provide expert dental services to correct crowded, crooked, or misaligned teeth through the highly-effective and comfortable Invisalign® system of aligners. To schedule your dental consultation, please call First Dental Implant Center at 888-213-0009 to see if Invisalign® fits your dental needs.

All on 4 Dental Implants

The All-on-4 Dental Implant Process?

Anyone having unstable, damaged, or missing teeth can greatly benefit from the innovative and efficient technique of All on 4® dental implants. As a lasting, dependable, and proven teeth replacement dental solution, All on 4® dental implants are a more permanent substitute for dentures, and a less damaging choice compared to dental bridges. Moreover, unlike dentures, the All on 4® dental implants are secured into your gums.

All on 4® implants give back your smile through a full set of natural-looking and attractive teeth that are so sturdily affixed that you can eat all your favorite foods and smile with confidence on the same day of the procedure. The dental implants are almost pain-free, and you can be on your way from our dental office with a full set of teeth in just one dental sitting!

What’s The All on 4 Dental Implant System?

In an All on 4® dental implant procedure, four implants in your upper arch or teeth and four in the lower arch or teeth can potentially help replace ALL your teeth.

The All on 4® dental implant system is different from traditional implants. In All on 4®, just four implants are inserted, per arch, into your gums at an angle – instead of an implant for each missing tooth as in traditional implants. The tilted technique – placement at an angle – enables patients with even minimal jaw bone to need less bone grafting work before the placement of the implants.

Due to the greater bone-to-implant contact, All on 4® implants can be utilized on the bone with height as low as 10 mm on the lower or upper jawbone. In many cases, this eliminates the requirement for complicated and costly bone grafting procedures. Moreover, as there are only four implants, the dental procedure costs less, and the recovery time is faster compared to traditional implants.

One of the most significant advantages of All on 4® dental implants is immediate results, enabling patients to return to normalcy in dental function and appearance in just one day!

While traditional dental implant procedures needed one year or more of healing time, with All on 4® dental implants, you can leave our office on the day you receive a temporary set of implant-supported teeth while your new customized prosthetic teeth get designed. And once your implants undergo the required healing period to bond with your jawbone and gum completely, our dentist places your new permanent prosthetic teeth within 3-6 months.

Major Benefits Of All on 4® Dental Implants

  • Permanent And Lasting Results
  • Don’t Involve Frustrating Use Of Removable Appliances
  • Rapid Recovery
  • Bone Grafting Not Needed Most Of The Time
  • Easy To Care For And Maintain Oral Hygiene
  • Eat What You Like
  • Improve Quality Of Life
  • Speak Confidently

The All on 4® Dental Implant Procedure?

Placing the All on 4® implants begins with an initial dental consultation in which Dr. Kass and his well-experienced and certified dental team conduct a comprehensive oral examination, collects vital dental health information, and responds to questions and doubts related to the procedure and the teeth restoration plan.

We also note your medical and dental history and carry out a CAT scan to get a detailed picture of the existing condition of your jaw structure, gums, and teeth. The patient also goes over issues such as fees and dental insurance coverage of the procedure.

Once the dental examination is complete, and Dr. Kass has clarified all your queries, a date for surgery is set for placing the All on 4® implants and the temporary prosthetics in the comfort of our welcoming dental office. Certified lab technicians design your final prosthetic replacement carefully. The prosthetic will appear, feel, and function exactly like your natural teeth. Finally, Dr. Kass will determine if complete healing has taken place, and the implants are completely integrated with your jaw and gums, and only then fix your permanent set of teeth into place.

Advantages Of Teeth In A Day

All on 4® dental implants offer possibilities of Teeth In A Day and ‘same day’ dental implants – both of which provide the following advantages to a patient who wants the least stoppage and inconvenience in dental function and daily living following a procedure.

  • Immediate Implant Placement
  • Temporary Appliances Not Required
  • Patient Not Without Teeth Post-Extraction
  • There’s No Waiting Period

At First Dental Implant Center, we offer the revolutionary teeth replacement solution of All on 4® dental implants, which can be an ideal treatment technique to address missing, infected, or failing teeth, and offer a far more permanent alternative to dentures. It’s a single-day teeth replacement solution that frees you to eat your favorite food soon after your procedure – just like you did with your natural set of healthy teeth.

To know how you can save time and money compared to alternate non-permanent teeth replacement options while protecting the health of gums, teeth, and bone for a long time, please call the First Dental Implant Center at 888-213-0009 to schedule your initial dental consultation with Dr. Kass. Dr. Kass is a highly-experienced and qualified Implantologist with more than 20 years of experience in placing All on 4® dental implants. Full Mouth Reconstruction

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Our dental specialist may recommend the comprehensive procedure of full mouth reconstruction, a dental treatment that should be undertaken only by a qualified and competent dentist, if you exhibit specific symptoms and if it is appropriate for your dental condition.

A patient may have a relatively problem-free mouth, like fractured teeth or eroded teeth, but may not realize that complex dental problems could arise in the future.

If you feel you have the following symptoms, seek dental advice from a skilled and qualified dentist and only then invest time and resources in a full mouth reconstruction if it is recommended.

  • Pain in jaw, headache, or pain that forces adjustment to the bite (occlusion)
  • Lost teeth due to trauma or decay
  • Acutely worn tooth or teeth due to long-term acid erosion caused by acid reflux, beverages, and foods, or tooth grinding
  • Fractured or injured teeth

If you feel if you have any of these issues, a full-mouth reconstruction procedure will enable you to reclaim your oral health, smile, and confidence. Call 888-213-0009 to schedule your dental consultation with Dr. Kass at the First Dental Implant Center.

Think Twice About Cheap ‘Vacation Dentistry’ Reconstruction Offers

Some dental practices and dentists in countries such as Mexico offer attractive deals under “vacation dentistry” that combine a vacation or a holiday in a deluxe location with low-cost dental services. But be careful if you decide to take up such an offer.

Our dental specialists have first-hand experience in examining some of these patients after they come back from their “dental vacation,” which turned out to be painful and expensive.

Such dental patients get the full-mouth reconstruction procedure done, but sometimes it is badly-executed and forces the patient to get the procedure redone at additional costs. There have also been cases where the tooth or teeth were found more damaged AFTER the reconstruction procedure.

It’s advisable, therefore, that you value your oral and general health, and only seek a reputed, well-trained, and experienced dentist while investing your time and money in an elaborate and life-changing dental procedure like full mouth reconstruction.

Getting Started With A Full Mouth Reconstruction

At the First Dental Implant Center, Dr. Kass will carry out a detailed dental examination and assess if you are a fit candidate for full mouth reconstruction. He will also discuss with you the restorative treatments most beneficial for your particular dental needs. You may require the following reconstruction services:

  • Dental Crowns
  • Partial or Full Dentures
  • Dental Veneers

Get New Teeth With Same Day Dental Implants Or Teeth In A Day

With same day dental implants procedure or Teeth In A Day, patients with damaged, lost, or infected teeth receive a new tooth or teeth in a single sitting, thereby avoiding costly and time-consuming multiple dental visits. At First Dental Implant Center, we place durable and high-quality implants in the space of a day so that you can receive new healthy teeth and get back to your work and enjoy your personal life with confidence.

The traditional dental implant procedure requires between three to six months. It can take up to six months to ensure complete healing and to ensure no gaps develop between your gum tissue and the implants.

But the latest advances in dental technology allow dentists to place an implant and execute the restoration with the final replacement bridge, crown, or dentures in a single day so that you can leave our clinic with new, healthy teeth and smile. In same day implants, you get a complete set: denture stabilization and replacement for a single tooth or multiple teeth – with no requirement to wear a temporary denture. Get Implant Procedure Done In One Day

If you have failing or missing teeth, same dental implants or Teeth In A Day are a perfect tooth replacement solution. The procedure replaces teeth – be it multiple, full set, or a single tooth – permanently. Your new set of teeth function, appear and feel exactly like your natural teeth.

Before the development of the prevalent implant technique, placement of a dental implant required multiple dental visits. During these sittings, the dentist would place small titanium implants surgically and then let them heal over a few months. After the implants integrated with the gum and bone tissue, the dentist would attach the abutment and customized prosthetic tooth – with the procedure needing many months for completion.

But at the First Dental Implant Center, we reduce the duration of the procedure dramatically to as little as a day. At our clinic, Dr. Kass replaces your missing or decaying teeth with a permanent implant solution utilizing just one surgical procedure. He uses cutting-edge dental technology, including a high-resolution 3D CT scan and digital planning software, to plan and execute your dental implant treatment, including customizing and placing the final close-fitting restoration in just one sitting.

Benefits of Same Day Dental Implants

Immediate improvement in dental function, aesthetics, oral health, and confidence are the major benefits of dental implants when utilized as a teeth replacement dental solution.

Dentures, too, are a teeth replacement solution, but compared to dental implants, they can’t be removed and don’t fill the gap of your original teeth or tooth. Implants are effective in preventing periodontal disease and are an immediate and long-term solution to stop further worsening of your gum and bone tissue.

Same day dental implants and Teeth In A Day streamline a procedure, which in the past often took several months. Today, it can be completed in a one-day procedure and help you avoid the hassle of multiple dental visits, extra cost, and loss of time. The same day dental implant procedure is as effective as traditional implants, and with proper care can last a lifetime.

In case you or a member of your family has infected, missing, or failing teeth, and you want a dental solution as soon as possible, please call the First Dental Implant Center at 888-213-0009 to schedule your initial dental consultation with Dr. Kass. He, along with his experienced staff, will provide all the details about same day dental implants or Teeth In A Day.

Dr. Kass is a well-established and highly-qualified Implantologist with more than 20 years in the dental industry. He has placed thousands of same day dental implants with excellent results at his clinic First Dental Implant Center, which also offers dental services such as All-on-4® bridges, veneers, braces, dentures, and gum disease treatment.

Bone Grafting

Dental Bone Grafting

If you’re reviewing options for bone grafting for implants First Dental Implant Center has options available to you.  One of the most effective solutions to dental replacement is implants.

For those of you concerned with the replacement of teeth, or who thought it not possible due to underlying bone issues, there is hope. If you do not have a substantial amount of bone underneath the gum line, you may think implants will not work.

If the proper bone density is lacking, your implant may shift or become extremely uncomfortable. Without the proper procedures before implants you may experience issues with encroachment, your implants may grow into other structures such as the sinus cavity in the upper jaw, or into nerves in the lower jaw.

Causing more discomfort and pain, the bone in the gumline is vital to the success and health of your implants. Fortunately, the latest advances in dentistry have provided solutions to this problem. Bone grafting is an option available to many of our patients and will give you the opportunity to achieve the teeth that you want.

What is Bone Grafting?

If you’re familiar with gum tissue grafting, bone grafting supplements much needed bone density. As bong augmentation is used to repair smaller bone loss areas, bone grafting is used to restore larger areas.

Bone loss occurs when a tooth is no longer healthy or in its socket. Bone grafting procedures attempt to repair the missing bone to better hold implants. This surgical procedure encourages natural bone tissue and repair by adding bone or a bone substitute back into the jaw.

With these advancements, bone or bone-like materials can come from the patient’s body, another organism, or from a laboratory that specializes in synthesizing bone material. Each patient’s needs will be assessed prior to making a decision and your dentist will discuss your individual options.

After the procedure and the new grafts are in place, Osseointegration will occur. This is the process where the body absorbs the new bone and begins to strengthen creating a more sustainable environment for your implants.

Depending on your individual circumstances, bone grafting may be able to be done during the implant appointment. If your bone graft must be done before the implant, it could mean weeks or even months of healing before the implant can be placed. This is typically seen with people who need additional repair to the bone structure before implanting new teeth.

If you, like so many, have been told that your gums are not a good candidate for dental implants, you can call us; and we will be happy to work towards your goals. Having a great smile that is functional and natural is our expertise.

We are prepared to explore your options. Having issues with the teeth can affect your self-esteem, it can also affect your health and comfort. There is no need to continue to suffer, our qualified medical staff is ready to help!

Scaling and Root Planing

Scaling and Root Planing

Having a trusted dentist who is dedicated to your oral health, comfort, and well-being is a wonderful feeling. Many people avoid going to the dentist out of fear of costs or pain. Our highly-skilled and well-trained staff offer comfort and care to every patient. We understand that if certain conditions go untreated, the treatment plan will be more difficult and possibly uncomfortable in the long-term.

Periodontal disease, also known and gum disease, is something that we can treat to prevent a more severe outcome. In healthcare, prevention is key. The easiest way to prevent more invasive procedures is to have regular cleanings.

For those of you who do have gum disease, we’re here to help make the treatment as painless and effective as possible. Using methods such as scaling and root planing allows us to remove the damage caused by gum disease while preventing it from going even further.

Gum Disease

Scaling and root planing is the process of removing gum disease and repairing the damage. This procedure is mildly invasive and highly effective. Sufferers of gum disease will often notice inflammation and swelling in the gums. This is due to the bacteria known as Gingivitis. When teeth are not properly cleaned, a thick plaque builds up harvesting bacteria that eventually attacks the gums and underlying bone structure of the mouth.

If these bacteria are not treated and removed, it can cause the connective tissue between tooth and gum to decay resulting in tooth loss. As professionals, we prefer to save your teeth if possible. This is why we enjoy educating and using preventative measures to ensure the integrity of each tooth.

When gingivitis gets into the gum, it will cause tiny pockets of decay in the teeth. The deeper this bacteria travels, the more damage it can do. Although you may already have gum disease, it is still treatable. To avoid needing surgery, it is best to handle the issue early on. We use a technique referred to as scaling and root planing to correct the damage, which is a non-surgical procedure.

Scaling and Root Planing

To maintain the most comfort for our patients, we use a local anesthetic to numb the area before working. When we are cleaning, we are looking for signs of decay and damage from bacteria. Cleaning deep below the gum line, we can even work on the roots of your teeth safely.

Once we are in the gums, we will smooth out any of the deep pockets left behind from the disease. Doing this will promote attachment back to the gums and prevent further damage.

Post Care

Having the scaling and root planing procedure done does not require much downtime. You can get back to your normal daily activities rather quickly. You must follow the aftercare plan that we have in place for you. Scheduling follow-up visits and routine cleaning will ensure that you do not have any more issues.
